Breaking New Ground is our line of seasonal limited edition blends and this one is made for Autumn.
We have brought together two speciality coffees to create something that captures the season - from foraging through hedgerows for juicy blackberries to curling up under a blanket with a good book, this coffee brings a little of the crisp autumn air into a warm brew perfect for settling in to the season.

Bringing two beans together for the season means double the love. These beans work in partnership to bring fruity flavours of blackberries and apples with richer notes of chocolate and sweetness of honey as a celebration of all things Autumn.
A blend of light and medium roasts balances brightness and body for a well-rounded brew that's full of character and brings a little bit of everything to your mug!
Whilst we think this coffee tastes great any way, we recommend using a cafetiere or filter brewing method.

Bringing you bean number 1:
First up is the lighter of the two roasts that make up Breaking New Ground. This single origin coffee comes from a family-run farm in the Gedeb district of Ethiopia and is grown at 2150m above sea level, scoring an impressive 87.75 on the Specialty Scale. The use of natural processing methods means the coffee is packed full of fruity flavour, making this the perfect starting point for Breaking New Ground.
Which brings us to bean number 2:
Our medium roast bean is the Mexican Single Origin behind 'Taking the High Ground'. We loved it enough to pair its chocolate and honey flavours with our Ethiopian coffee, creating a blend with plenty of depth but letting the fruit shine through.
We blended this combination ourselves and loved the cup it created - a new taste adventure that we just had to share!
