A rich coffee with a hint of sweetness. A base of dark chocolate meets sticky dates and caramelised cola to bring you a wholesome and balanced daily brew.
Roasted medium-dark for more intensity and to deliver a flavour profile with punch with just enough sweetness to keep you coming back for more!
Whilst we think this coffee tastes great any way, we recommend using an espresso machine, aeropress or mokka pot to get the full depth of flavour.
See our Brewing Guide for more details!
This coffee starts in coffee paradise: high altitude, volcanic soil and the ideal temperature in Rwanda. The ripe cherries are handpicked and stored before being pulped. Fermentation happens in water for 12-48 hours before being washed and naturally dried for up to 22 days.
Rwamatamu Coffee produces this brew and they support multiple locations and washing stations in Rwanda, working closely with local farming communities to promote sustainability, education and partnerships to support the coffee industrty.
